All of our instructors began their training at Golden Dragons School of Karate under SGM Pete Morales and GM Brian Yoshii.
As fate would have it, HMA would began training in the exact location to which Golden Dragons was born. HMA honors its past by continuing its future. We instill in our students what was instilled in us: to continue learning, training, promoting the art, and always remember our roots.

GM Shawn Hayes
Shawn Hayes is a 9th degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo and "Full Qualified" (FQI) in Balintawak Escrima. He holds the title of GM and owner of Hayes Martial Arts. Shawn also received an award as an "Outstanding Student" by the World Sokeship Hall of Fame in 2004.
